Robert Michael Welke is a seasoned business growth strategist, Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA), and co-founder of MExit Inc., where he helps business owners achieve maximum value at exit through structured growth transformation and value acceleration coaching.
With a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from UBC and a diverse background that includes co-founding and scaling multiple companies across environmental services, financial advising, and oilfield services operations, Robert brings over 35 years of entrepreneurial and advisory experience.
He has authored and presented on Inspection- Industry competency, has authored and co-authored books on business building and business exits, developed a proprietary coaching framework, and led transformations that have significantly increased enterprise value for small to mid-sized companies in the industrial, commercial, and manufacturing sectors.
Raised in Kelowna, B.C. and shaped by a youth immersed in adventure, the Royal Canadian Army Cadets, and the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve, Robert has always pursued leadership, challenge, and impact.
Despite a serious injury that ended his extreme sports pursuits in 1986, he rediscovered adventure through SCUBA diving, becoming a Dive Master at age 55 and is a specialty instructor with a passion for underwater exploration and ice diving. Based in Calgary with his wife and son, Robert continues to lead with purpose—empowering business owners to transition successfully while building lives of freedom and legacy beyond the business.
